Power of holy declarations #girlraiseyourvoice #21daysofdeclarations
Can you change the world with just your voice? We believe so.
Power is found in the name of Jesus, and a voice that comes into agreement with the word of God. Indeed, without God we have nothing. But with the Word of God we have everything.
"Girl, read your bible. You can eat all the kale. Do all the things, lift all the weights, take all the trips, trash all the things that don't spark joy, wash your face and hustle like mad. But if you don't rest your soul in Jesus, you will never find peace & purpose"@RelentlessWomen
More than self help, we need Godly help to become the beautiful, strong & healed women we are called to be. Equipped with tools made mighty in Kingdom power to activate Heaven's promises over our lives. Promises that are able to tear down things that have kept you stuck & bound (strongholds). Promises that bring life & restoration to barren spaces. Promises that hold no expiry date for the God of the impossible!
“Rise Esther's! Be so filled with a heart of truth, love and worship as to push back darkness, and refute all lies."
Intuitively we sense power that words play in our life. Our ability to communicate is a gift that helps facilitate connection and build a bridge between our internal & external worlds. Self-help is rooted in power of positive thinking (and speaking) that helps us reframe, choose gratitude and see new possibilities for the future. So what next level change takes place when the words of God are actively spoken from our mouths?
1. We believe that Life and Death is held within power of our Words
Proverbs 18:21 declares, "Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences" (TPT). We can see the life giving power of words in the creation story. For it was through the Word that God created the earth; lightness and dark. Just as we are made in the image of our creator God, we have the ability to speak life into all that we create. If we believe Proverbs 18:21 we will start to speak on purpose, and start to see the fruit of our abundant words. Fruit that spills into our heart, our relationships and the world around us.
2. Words propel us to experience the true victory Jesus has won for us
We meet Jesus through a salvation prayer where we confess our need for a Saviour. It is our words aligned with the posture of our hearts coming into agreement with Truth of who Jesus is that ushers us into freedom. And it is through our words that we can continue to live in the freedom of what has been won for us by standing against any agreements we have made with things contrary to the truth of God. What the enemy can isolate, separate and shame, he can destroy. We see this first in the garden, when Eve was taunted with the words, "Did God really say that?!" (Genesis 3:1). Isolation can bring doubt that makes us doubt our rightful identity as Daughter of God. Doubt what God has spoken to us. Especially when we are believing for something spiritually, that we can't yet see in the practical reality of our lives. Speaking the word of God is a key defence against the tactics of the enemy, overriding our feeling realm to anchor in the righteousness of Christ.
We come into the fullness of identity when we know who we are and speak what we believe.
3. Words have the power to replace limiting beliefs around our identity (strongholds) with new Truths
There is power in speaking words that are biblical Truths and faith filled declarations to dismantle lies that we have previously accepted as "truths". Declaring what God's word says not only disempowers a lie but works to establish a new stronghold or foundation of biblical Truth in its place. Psychology shows that our identity is a mental picture we hold about ourselves; often a subconscious list of "I AM" statements and "I AM not" statements. These are formed through our experiences (often in early childhood) and what we believe to be true about the circumstances and opportunities in our lives. Through Christ, we are made a new creation when our soul (mind, will & emotions) starts being healed and our spiritual being truly becomes alive. We therefore don't live in bondage to a fixed identity rooted in the things of this world, but can change how we see ourselves in the light of God's word. Through Gods word intersecting with our spirit, quickened by the power of the Holy Spirit, we have the ability to grow new Truths in line with original design of who God made and calls us to be.
4. Words help us shape new narratives over our lives
Whether we are consciously aware of it or not, we all live out of narratives that help us make sense of our lives and the world around us. As we aim to rise as women who are strong, beautiful and healed we need to take 100% responsibility for the narratives we allow to hold our story. Narratives like we are 'not enough', or conversely 'too much' can limit our potential and lead to us living out of perceived facts not Truth. Its up to us to declare Truth across every single life domain and area, otherwise the world will not hesitate in providing a replacement story. Paul's voice echo's from eternity as he too made this choice to declare above the facts the single Truth he claimed across his story: So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! (Romans 8: 38-39). Do you believe it too?!
